Today I am 30 years old. Yesterday I was 29 years old. I am not sure that I am glad about that yet. However, one thing I AM glad about is the execution of Saddam Hussein. Here is the full camera phone video that everyone has been raving about:
There are 295 days left until I am a married man. I must admit that I am excited to go forward in life with someone who will be there with me until the end. A lot of people (married people) talk about the negative side of marriage. I guess I am a little naive because I am still un-married but I don't see myself having the same issues they have once I tie the knot.
Nicole, my fiancee, is an amazing person. She is smart, beautiful, caring, kind, loving, family-oriented, successful, determined and (best of all) in love with ME. :) She truly is the love of my life. Even though it took a while (and I mean a while) for me to work up the nerve to ask her out on a date, I knew she was "special".
I guess the only metaphor in life I could compare it too is seeing someone that you recognize but can't remember where from. When I first met her, there was something about her that sparked a thought in my brain that told me I was going to see more of her and that she was not just another girl. It must have been sub-conscious because I probably didn't ask her out for another two years.
Our first date was on December 14, 2004. I will tell you more about that next time...goodnight. :)
This is my first blog so bear with me people.
